Sarah Kauss, a Harvard Business School graduate, designed and developed the first “hydration accessory” bottle, which keeps drinks cold for 24 hours and hot for 12. S’well is the only bottle that looks great and does good, with donations made to charity partners for every bottle sold. Sarah was listed on Fortune’s “40 Under 40” list in 2014, and in the same year was honored with the designation by Ernst and Young as an Entrepreneurial Winning Woman. S’well was named number one on the Women’s Presidents Organization’s list of 50 Fastest-Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies and featured on Crain’s list of New York’s Fastest-Growing Companies in 2015. For more on S'well and Sarah you can follow them along on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

Your current Netflix addiction:
Sarah
I just finished binging Stranger Things and of course am such a huge fan of Millie Bobby Brown. She is an incredibly talented actress at such a young age. I’ve just moved on to The Crown and it’s also a fantastic show.

What do you love most about your work:
Sarah
What I love most about my work is that I’ve been able to turn an idea I held onto for a long time into a company that continues to grow. I wanted to bring fashion and function to an everyday item, a water bottle, and convert the non-converted to stop using single-use plastic bottles, all while giving back to those in need.

At 9am each day, you are:
Sarah
At 9am I’ve already been in the office for about an hour. First thing in the morning you can usually find me in the kitchen pouring myself a large cup of coffee and talking with some of the S’well team about the day ahead. After kickstarting my morning, I’ll make my way to my desk to go through my schedule and plan out as much as I can.

Skincare product you can’t live without and why:
Sarah
I just bought Glossier’s Super Serums and they have become a must-have in my skincare regimen. My favorite out of the 3 is the Super Bounce, especially in the morning before I put my makeup on. They are also a size that’s travel friendly which is a major plus for me.

Favorite Instagram account to follow:
Sarah
Eva Chen, not only is she Instagram’s head of Fashion Partnerships, she is a real person. She has a great sense of personal style, isn’t afraid of making fun of herself, but is very willing to take a personal stand and use her voice for what she believes in. She’s great and I just love to see what she is up to, what she is wearing, eating, reading, and thinking about. That and her daughter is just adorable too!

I’m hoping the sneaker trend never goes out of style. I recently treated myself to a pair of Gucci sneakers that I had been eyeing for some time and am totally obsessed.

My last takeout order was the Thai Green Curry from Ngam. When the temperature starts to drop, I always crave something warm and comforting like Thai food.

You decompress each day by:
Sarah
After a long day of work, I love coming home and journaling. I keep a five year journal and writing in it helps me to reflect on the day I have and gain a bit of perspective based on what might’ve been going on at the same time last year.

On Sunday, we’ll find you wearing:
Sarah
On Sunday, you can find me dressed as you would any other day of the week. I’m most comfortable in a dress or skirt and love to make everyday feel a little bit like a special occasion.
