Your biggest fashion faux pas or a regrettable purchase / style phase:
Marissa
One of my childhood friends and I were watching Wolf of Wall Street the other day reminiscing about our Steve Madden platform sandals. Woof, those were bad. Chunky, flat, and squeaky. But we LOVED them. I’m pretty sure I went through like four pairs.

@iamdiddy. Seriously. It’s a lot of what you would expect, Ciroc, etc. etc. but he also throws in some real gems. He’s especially good at finding hilarious baby memes. Seriously.

What do you love most about your work?
Marissa
Growing a business is like this giant puzzle with a million pieces. I love puzzles.

One piece of advice you would give your 18 year old self:
Marissa
Someone actually told me then not to worry about creating some sort of career path - just do what you’re interested in now and it will always lead you to the next thing you’re interested in. It was such good advice. It’s pretty crazy how things you never thought would be relevant to each other end up coming together.

Your last great read:

Wild. It’s kind of the perfect book. Page-turner, interesting characters, a really honest story, I could go on and on…

Charities you support:
Marissa
Being a new mom has made me obsessed with any cause that supports mothers and babies. Every Mother Counts is a great example. I’m blessed to have so many resources at my disposal and it’s still the hardest thing I’ve ever done, so I’m just in awe of what some women have to cope with and overcome.

Where does your credit card get the most use?
Marissa
This is so not glamorous but I’m pretty sure half my salary goes to soap.com every month. It’s a family of stores (diapers.com, beautybar.com, etc.) that between them have every product you can think of, and the app is dangerously easy to use. And there’s free next day delivery, so it’s especially great for urgent baby needs.

Your (real life) hero and why:
Marissa
My Dad. It doesn’t matter how upset I am when I call him, I know with 100% certainty that I’ll feel better after I talk to him. He’s my (and a lot of my friends’) guru. :)
