One piece of advice you would give your 18-year-old self:

Erin

Oh gracious, I wish I could shake myself and say, “Stop obsessing about your abs. You’ll never look better, and it couldn't possibly matter less.”

R&S

Your motto in life:

Erin

I always subscribe to the classic Plato quote when going about my day: “Be kind, for everyone you know is fighting a harder battle.”

Your last great read and why you enjoyed it:

Erin

Cheryl Strayed’s Tiny Beautiful Things. It was heart-wrenching and practical and inspiring and, my gosh, everything a book should be. Read it today; you just must.

R&S

At 9 a.m. each day, you are...

Erin

Ready for lunch! I wake up at 4:45 a.m. every day, so my stomach is growling by mid-morning. It plays nice after a few macadamia nuts or pistachios.

On Sunday, we’ll find you wearing:

Erin

Sundays are one of the few days I’m not in yoga gear or pajamas (which, for me, are basically one and the same!), so I typically dress up for church in the morning and then throw on some denim cutoffs and my white Birkenstocks to run errands or venture out to one of the many amazing summer festivals we’ve had lately.

The beauty product found in your bag at all times:

Erin

I never leave home without a lip balm and have dozens stashed in every purse, diaper bag, drawer and car compartment! My current favorite is Fresh’s Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in Plum.

R&S

You decompress each day by:

Erin

I’m an introvert, so I always bookend my day with a bit of reading and/or journaling. It requires a bit of sacrifice (I wake up much earlier than the rest of my family!), but have found that for me, it’s key for maintaining my focus on the day ahead.

R&S

The pair of jeans you will never grow tired of:

Erin

I “borrowed” my husband’s Levi’s years ago, and they’ve just reached the phase where they’ve perfectly fallen apart in the most effortless way. I pair them with everything, from heels to sneakers and dates to weekends! They’re a constant in my closet.

R&S

Your favorite restaurant for brunch and your go-to order:

Erin

There’s a local diner called Spyro’s here and, my gosh, they have the best spinach and feta omelette imaginable. It’s massive and is good for at least two days of leftovers!

R&S

Cocktail of choice:

Erin

I will never not crave a great Bloody Mary with brunch...or really, any time at all! It’s like drinking your veggies! (Right?)
