WELL, I recently discovered the British sisters behind Hemsley + Hemsley, and they might be my new heroes. I’ve dog-eared the crap out of their cookbook. 

It really doesn’t get better than Prune in the East Village. I’m a Midwesterner originally, so I appreciate that they open on weekends at 10 A.M.—not some horrifically late afternoon hour like most New York joints—and their Chicago Matchbox bloody mary is the very best I’ve ever had.

I’ll always love Hugh Grant, I’ll tell you what. It’s a combination of the bumbling-ness, the floppy hair, and the crinkly eyes, I think.

You know, I’ve been recommending Quiet a whole lot. It’s a really fascinating book about introverts, and I think I secretly am one.

Beautycounter makes a lip sheer in this perfect, neutral shade Twig that makes me feel suddenly put-together. And the fact that it comes in a pretty package doesn’t hurt a bit.

We’re big ice cream eaters at my house, and the current go-to is Ben & Jerry’s Vanilla Honey Caramel Greek Frozen Yogurt (that’s a real mouthful—zing!).
