Patience, my dear. If you’re too anxious about the future, you’re going to miss out on the good things that are right in front of you. 

For industry events, I have an amazing black silk jumpsuit. It’s gorgeous and classic but totally unexpected in a sea of jackets and LBDs. 

This time of year I don’t go anywhere without a bronzer for midday touchups. I’m all about a faux glow. 

Even if stripes were to fall out of favor, I’d continue to wear them—and decorate my house with them. They’re timeless. 

I discovered CND Shellac in Lobster Roll this summer. It’s a perfect poppy mix of red and pink that goes with everything. 

I could live on Thai food alone. We get fresh spring rolls and pad thai or a curry at least once a week.

I put hot peppers or red pepper flakes on just about every pizza. Spicy makes everything better. 

I’ve been on a Campari kick for awhile, so a Negroni or an Americano (the drink, not the coffee, though I like those too).

I get excited about just about everything, big or small. It could be a donut Friday in the office or a cute face my dog is making, and chances are I will make a scene.

I’d still be a lifestyle editor. Storytelling, pretty things and smart, creative people bring me joy.
