One piece of advice you would give your 18 year old self:

Be kind to yourself and don’t worry so much about what other people think. And, of course, wear sunscreen.

I’d love to say kale, but the reality is: Cheez-Its. For me, they’re one of the great rediscoveries of parenthood, with Teddy Grahams as a close second. In fact, my kids don’t even eat Teddy Grahams anymore but I still buy them sometimes for you-know-who.

A secret talent we should know about:

Without peeking at the name, I can tell you the make and model of just about every car on the road. Sometimes I get tripped up by Toyotas and Hyundais, but for the most part I’m an automative savant. Meanwhile, I drive a minivan.

Charity/charities you support:

I support Cycle for Survival, which raises money for rare cancers. 100% of the money raised goes to research - and the list of rare cancers is a lot longer than you might think.

The skill or sport you're dying to learn:

If you could “learn” how to be a good dancer, I’d be the first in line. Not that my poor coordination keeps me off the dance floor...
