There’s something to learn from fashionistas like Sofia Richie Grainge and Iris Apfel: Style isn’t limited to a certain age group. Whether you’re at the start of your twenties or well into your fifties, you can express yourself through what you wear. But rather than worrying about what’s “age-appropriate,” the key to dressing your best through every decade of life is knowing what you like and where to get it.

In order to help you with that last part, we asked our multi-generational team to tell us about the brands they can’t get enough of. Then, we audited our site to see which recommended retailers are frequently featured in our Top 10 lists. Ahead, we organized the results of this research into three sections (one each for twenty-, thirty-, and forty-somethings). So, grab your wallet and keep scrolling, because now is the time to discover something new and refresh your wardrobe.
